Los carteles de EL CAMINANTE Y SU SOMBRA LIBERTARIA

Quise publicar este post, en el día de la Independencia de Argentina, porque este país fue mi tema para la exposición colectiva de EL CAMINANTE Y SU SOMBRA LIBERTARIA. El motivo fue para celebrar el Bicentenario de la Independencia de varias naciones latinoamericanas. Fui invitado por el mtro. Luvin Morales. Para trabajar el proyecto me base en la figura de San Martin, el libertador y de otros personajes extraídos de la cultura popular argentina y de la imaginería latinoamericana. Así un Maradona, un Gardel y un Cerati conviven con la memoria de un gran héroe, haciéndolo más cálido su recuerdo para las generaciones actuales, también es una revisión de la iconografía de San Martin.

I wanted to publish this post on the day of Independence of Argentina because that country was my theme for the exhibition by THE WALKER AND HIS LIBERTARIAN SHADOW. The occasion was to celebrate the bicentennial of independence of several Latin American nations. I was invited by Maestro. Luvin Morales. For me the project work based on the figure of St. Martin, the liberator and other characters from the popular culture in Argentina and Latin American imagery. Thus a Maradona, a Cerati Gardel share with the memory of a great hero, making it warm his memory for presents generations, is also a review of the iconography of San Martin.
